Creative Guest Facts

My name is Kasia Bogatko, I'm 34 and I'm from Poland. I live here with my lovely husband and our big dog. I am a scrapbooker since over 5 years, when I decided to make christmas cards for my friends and family.

For last few years my style and interests have changed. Now a layout is my favourite form but sometimes I also make journaling pages, canvas and off the page projects. .For me it is the best way to relax after a hard day. Mixed media style are my biggest love. My projects are usually rich, full of layers and medias. I love using paints, mists, stencils, modeling paste. I love splashing, misting and distressing paper. I’m still learning and like to discover new techniques. I would like to share my love to medias and show that everybody can use them.

The Project

I'm very happy that I can be a guest on this amazing challenge blog. I made for you a small canvas with denim background. I used a lot of metall embellishments, glass and micro beads, and a tons of mediums. I want to achieve rich and very dimensional structure. I hope that you like it.

It`s me....Heike Bruhn.

My name in the sociale media world is Heikes Augenblick.

I live with my husband Jörgen in a house that was build in 1930 in the oldest city of The Netherlands. Together we have four grown up kids, one son in law and three grandchildren.

I have always worked as a stay at home mum. When my kids grew older there was more time for me and my passion "scrapbooking". It has been six years now.....What a fun !!

I have a mixed media signature style. Mediums, colours and layering is a must have on my projects.

I am a bit of a stencil/stampoholic so I love to get stencil/stamp work on my projects and home made flowers are perfect for the finishing touch.

October 2016

Winter is coming - it´s time to put on pants, so we´re going for a denim style palette this month. Oh well, for some of us it´s high summer, but why not use the denim shorts today and get crafty with our October Challenge.

To participate you need to do your interpretation of our challenge and upload a direct link to your project with the help of our Linkytool. The interpretations are free in form (layout, card, art journal, album, canvas) but you need to follow the outlines of the challenge. Each month we will chose a couple of projects that will be highlighted in a special post.
